Dedication

This book is dedicated to the memory of a godly man and faithful pastor. Don McKinney paid a high price for his belief in sovereign grace. He was never more like his patron saint, Martin Luther, than when he refused to deny or soft pedal the doctrine of election knowing he could lose everything. He said, “I would rather sell bananas for a nickel each than deny that I owe all my salvation to the sovereign election of God.” I owe him much. He was my friend and my mentor.
