Christian ethics is about life under the lordship of Christ. It’s about kingdom living. It’s about pleasing Jesus: “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?” (Luke 6:46).

Ethics matter to Christians because we want to glorify God, we want to submit to the Scriptures, we want to live righteously in an unrighteous world, we want to show that our faith is real, and we want to do what Christ created us to do.
